Jeremonstar: The First Sports-Anime Comic

College Football season is only days away and even if you’re not a fan of the sport, there is one student athlete who is using his personal journey and story to try and inspire the next generation.

Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame’s star running back, has just announced a groundbreaking new project at the intersection of college athletics, anime culture, and storytelling.

Jeremonstar is the first-ever anime-inspired sports comic created by a current Division 1 athlete, Jeremiyah Love, in collaboration with his father and powered by the creative agency Limited Edition.

More than just a comic book, Jeremonstar is a cultural movement blending Black father-son creativity, athletic excellence, and anime fandom—an intersection that’s rarely seen but resonates deeply with Gen Z and Alpha audiences.

The comic follows a superpowered athlete, modeled after Jeremiyah himself, navigating The Power Leagues, a mythic version of modern sports where ability, mindset, and discipline transcend the physical realm. Think Dragon Ball Z meets College Football.

The comic is slated to drop in physical and digital formats this fall during the 2025 college football season.
